NYPACE is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that stimulates job creation and economic opportunity in underserved communities by mobilizing pro bono professionals to support local entrepreneurs through an extensive network of volunteer advisors from many of the nation’s leading professional firms. NYPACE supports underserved entrepreneurs with pro bono services that would otherwise be unaffordable, while providing volunteers with a structured, curated channel for giving back. Midway Momentum: Driving Our Strategic Plan Forward

As we step into the second half of our three-year strategic plan, we are excited to see our progress and redouble our effort to deepen our impact and broaden our reach across New York City’s vibrant entrepreneurial landscape.
 
At NYPACE, we believe in the power of community, mentorship, and opportunity. Launched in early 2024, our strategic plan was built around a bold but achievable vision: to serve 500 under-resourced entrepreneurs and engage 500 advisors from top professional firms by the end of 2026–all while increasing our offerings to our target constituents. This plan reflects our commitment to creating meaningful, one-on-one connections between growth-ready small business owners and skilled business professionals in finance, marketing, operations, and strategy.
 
A Roadmap Built on Six Strategic Pillars

Our three-year plan is guided by six core pillars designed to ensure that NYPACE grows thoughtfully and sustainably. These pillars serve as the foundation for all of our initiatives:

  1. Program & Impact – Strengthening the core of our work by continuously improving how we support entrepreneurs and measure meaningful outcomes.
  2. Human Resources & Administration – Building operational excellence through efficient systems, policies, and infrastructure.
  3. Finance & Development – Strengthening our financial foundation through diversified funding strategies, transparent budgeting, and long-term sustainability planning.
  4. Marketing & Communication – Elevating NYPACE’s visibility and voice through strategic storytelling, brand clarity, and targeted outreach to key stakeholders.
  5. Board Development – Investing in strong, engaged leadership by supporting our executive team and evolving our board to meet the organization’s growing needs.
  6. Annual Fundraising Event and Impact Forum – Hosting dynamic, mission-aligned events that bring together our community, foster meaningful connections, and showcase the stories, partnerships, and impact at the heart of NYPACE.
Each pillar plays a key role in helping us scale our reach while staying true to our mission and values.
 
A Year and a Half of Momentum
At our plan midpoint, we have laid a strong foundation. Through the dedication of our volunteers and the resilience of the entrepreneurs we support, we began to scale our programming, build new partnerships, and strengthen our community. The results have been inspiring—and they’ve only deepened our belief in the NYPACE model.
 
What’s Ahead 

As we enter the second half of our plan period, we are laser-focused on growth, quality, and impact. Some of our key initiatives for this year include:

  • Expanding Access: We’re increasing outreach efforts to ensure more entrepreneurs across all five boroughs have the opportunity to work with NYPACE.
  • Deepening Support: We’re enhancing our programming to provide even more tailored, actionable advice to entrepreneurs at every stage of their journey.
  • Activating More Advisors: We’re continuing to recruit top-tier professionals from NYC’s most respected firms, matching their skills with the unique needs of our entrepreneurs.
  • Measuring Impact: With an eye on our long-term goals, we’re investing in better tools to track progress and highlight the real-world success stories that emerge from NYPACE collaborations.
