NYPACE supports underserved entrepreneurs with pro bono services that would otherwise be unaffordable, while providing volunteers with a structured, curated channel for giving back. Celebrating a Milestone Moment in Our Partnership with PayPal
This year, PayPal significantly increased its programmatic investment with NYPACE, bringing their total grant support to over $100,000 in 2025. This support powered NYPACE’s Fall 2025 Cohort, the largest cohort of the year, culminating in the graduation of 16 entrepreneurs on December 10. These founders completed intensive consulting engagements designed to strengthen their business strategies, expand their networks, and equip them with actionable tools to grow and scale their ventures. PayPal’s support has been critical in ensuring that these entrepreneurs—many of whom are under-resourced—have access to high-quality guidance and resources that might otherwise be out of reach.
Our partnership has also included a highly impactful PayPal Day of Service, where employees worked directly with NYPACE entrepreneurs in four-hour sprint projects—an accelerated version of our eight-week consulting model. Volunteers brought expertise in marketing, finance, operations, and strategy, providing immediate, tangible support to founders. One standout volunteer, Gabriel de Morant, was featured in our Newsletter Volunteer Spotlight for his contributions not only during the Day of Service but also at our Impact Forum events, exemplifying the deep engagement and dedication of PayPal employees in advancing our mission. On November 7, we were honored to receive a Community Impact grant renewal of $20,000 reaffirming PayPal’s continued belief in NYPACE’s mission to connect under-resourced entrepreneurs with high-skilled volunteers to help scale their businesses. Beyond financial support, PayPal has also been a generous in-kind partnered with us to host the NYPACE Small Business Impact Forum in both 2024 and 2025. These events have become a powerful gathering place for entrepreneurs, volunteers, and community partners to exchange ideas, celebrate growth, and strengthen New York’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.
